Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor's responsibilities include assisting in the maintenance and operation of machinery and equipment and ensure that it performs to maximum capability and reliability.  This includes breakdowns, preventative maintenance, annual overhauls and the identification and implementation of improvements. 

The position involves coverage across all shifts and hours of work, including the working of regular overtime and may involve weekends and Public Holidays.

    • Repairs and Maintenance
    • Preventative Maintenance Programme
    • Machinery Operation
    • Capital Works
    • Continuous improvement of cost, quality and service
    • Continuously improve environmental, health and safety and food safety standards
    • Work within the department systems and procedures

    • About you:

    • Mechanical qualification – e.g. Supervisor/turner/machinist
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and good level of engineering skill
    • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic systems
    • Previous experience in a maintenance team position is essential
